SKP model German Helmets WW II.

Post  Jenny Ryan on Sat Nov 22, 2008 1:12 am

I have seen these for quite a while now , anyway my friend Jindra gave me a set .

There are five helmets to the set & two gorgettes for German Military Police . The precoloured etch means that all that is needed to complete these is to paint the helmet shell . Templates are provided for the markings on the helmets but only for SS helmets .
Still lots of helmets did not have any markings on them .

These two which will go on my little Flakpanzer , took about five minutes to assemble after painting & as you can see look amazing . To finish them I used Heer helmet markings from Archer . To get the most from these they should be left with the liner exposed , otherwise I would just use a Dragon one , but for that touch of detail I would go the SKP Helmets every time !

They should be easily dinged & dented realistically but maybe for my next project ! Highly recommended !

Jenny
I think that I need to see them in the flesh before I purchase a set of them.
