New from K-59

Post  Jenny Ryan on Fri May 08, 2009 9:01 am

Two new items from K-59 , both are for Tristars Marder III H & should take it to another dimension .

Marder 3 Ausf.H Upgrade kit for Tristar, PE parts and more than 100 resin parts .

A highly detail and researched update kit for Tristar Marder 3H. 70 resin parts plus 38 nos. Pak40 shell and many PE parts. This set has many distinctive features/details like the single cast radio frame, non-skid pattern at the gun travel lock arms, highly detail first aid box... to the small bracket at the gas mask cansiters etc.

Marder 3H Rear Platform for Tristar kit .

This is an optional detail set for those who want to have a more accurate/thinner platform with sharper holes, more accurate hole position at rear, weld seams, better looking side frame etc. It saves modellers' a lot of hours on filling, sanding and re-drilling the holes.

Interesting, and totally new to me. Do you have a website for K-59? Any reviews of their products? What sort of price does a kit like this Marder one go for?

Thanks for the interesting news, Jenny!

Well Tarok , we have the set for the Marder III M which is divine , just top shelf stuff .

I have an old site map for K-59 which has not been updated for years here I do not know if they have an up to date site .

Lucky Model have the two sets in , the detail set is $39.99 US + postage & the Rear Platform for $6.29 US .

Erik is using a K-59 set for his Marder II D for his Xtremely Little but Lethal group build here too .

Awesome! Thank you dear lady Smile

That sounds like a pretty reasonable price for a resin upgrade kit - and it looks pretty flash! Smile

Yes they use PE too , the Marder III M set I have for the Tamiya kit has two lots of etch one from Aber & the other set , if I was to guess would be voyager , lots of duplicated parts . They seem to have very high quality resin & no air bubbles either .
